Witches Festival is back!

Elder Scrolls Online is back with its unique take on the event calendar with its annual Witches Festival. It seems that this year we are getting more or less than we got last time but why change something that is not broken? So prepare for more pumpkins, more hollowjacks, and more skeletons!

First things first - how to participate in the entire thing? Enter Crown Store and select the "Holiday" tab to obtain a free "Crow Caller" item. Upon use, the Witchmother will ask you to perform a quest for her which will make players go into a delve to obtain an essence of creature lingering there. After collecting all the required items and bringing it to the hag you will receive Witchmother's Whistle memento. If you have completed the event last year you don't have to do it again. Once you've got the item you can now summon "Whichmother's Cauldron" transforming you into a skeleton for two hours which grants you a special bonus.

While under the effect of the "curse" players receive a 100% experience buff that stacks with other experience buffs. What is more - killing any kind of boss while under the spell, doesn't matter if it's a delve boss, world boss, or dungeon boss, players will receive Plunder Skulls a reward box with the following rewards: 

• Hollowjack Motif Pages or Books

• A Runebox with one of these masks:

  • Pumpkin Spectre Mask

  • Scarecrow Spectre Mask

  • Hollowjack Spectre Mask

  • Thicketman Spectre Mask

• Witches Festival-themed recipes

• Furniture and furniture recipes

• Motif-style items.

What is more new zombie horse mount and gloomy "Exorcised Coven Cottage" house will be added to the Crown Store. The house, however, can be purchased for in-game gold after unlocking the event achievements: 

• Happy Work for Hollowjack

• Plunder Skull Enthusiast

• Pumpkin Pairs Well With Guts

• Reaper's Harvest.

The Witches Festival begins at 15:00 BST on Friday, October 20 and will last until Wednesday, November 1
