Valorant Breach Guide - Bionic arms in action!
Breach guide for the valorant game
Welcome to MMOAuctions series of guides for the Valorant game. In this one, we want to take a closer look at the Swedish Initiator that goes by the name of Breach. If you want to learn how to play him, what are his abilities, or what strengths and weaknesses you can expect from playing this agent - you have arrived at the right Valorant Breach guide. Without further ado, let's have a quick peek at what this guy has to offer.
Who is Breach
"Stand in my way, I dare you!"
Breach is one of the agents available in the Valorant game. His role is the Initiator, which means that he specializes in forcing fights, pushing enemies out of their comfortable camping spots, and taking action before everyone else. It is a perfect agent for players who love to start fights for their teams and for those that like to play alone - providing a distraction for the rest of the team. From the appearance, it is a tall, muscular man with two bionic arms, a thick beard, and a ginger ponytail. He wears military clothes, including an iconic vest with paint that resembles a deer head.
breach’s abilities
Breach uses a standard set of four abilities like most of the other Valorant agents - two basic abilities purchasable after every round, an iconic ability that can be refilled during the game, and an ultimate that is being charged partially on every kill.
C - Aftershock / Costs: 100 Credits / Uses: one
- Upon clicking the C key agent will equip a fusion charge Fire it with a left-click and it will explode in a slow - acting burst on the front of the user - going through the walls and dealing heavy damage to anyone hit within the radius.
Aftershock is a very underestimated ability that is misused in lower leagues. Most of the players there use it trying to strike down opponents on open spaces through the walls. It is hard to do because of a few things:
-The explosion charges for around two seconds before exploding, allowing opponents to get away from it easily.
-The range is quite low, so there is a high possibility that your enemy will escape before it explodes.
-The indicator in the middle of the screen is easily visible - everyone knows that you have to get away from this ability.
How to use it:
Aftershock is a zoning skill and should be used as a zoning skill. If you’re pushing a location where you think the enemy may hide, you can use Aftershock to push him away from the cover. It allows you to check if someone hides at the location where someone may hide and punish players camping for easy frags. Use your C ability at one of the common camping spots when you enter the site or block one of the ways to defend the Spike site.
W - Flash point / Cost: 200 Credits / Uses: two
-Upon clicking the W, Breach equips a blinding charge. When cast, it goes through the wall to flash everyone who looks at it.
Flashpoint is the reason why most of the Breach players play this agent. It is a powerful ability since blinding opponents through the walls can easily change the course of every fight. It is almost impossible to look away when it comes out unless you are expecting it, and most of the time, one flash is enough to put one of the enemies into the grave.
How to use it:
Flashpoint is an ability very easy to use, that can easily help you - or help the enemy team. By blinding through the wall, you risk flashing your team. Make sure to always place Flashpoint in spots where the enemy will be able to see it, but your team won't. Use it when you are entering the site, or when the enemy team tries to. You have to know that this effect is very brief and to use it well you have to peek right after it.
E - Fault Line / Cost: none / Uses: one
-Upon clicking on the E key, Breach equips a Seismic Blast - his signature ability. By holding the left mouse button player can expand the range of this ability to a really long distance, and upon the release of the button, the seismic blast explodes in front of the Breach - going through the walls.
Fault Line is another useful zoning ability that can be found in the Breach toolkit. It doesn't deal any damage, but it makes enemies caught within the radius, almost unable to continue fighting for the next three seconds. This should be enough to land the bullet in their head. Keep in mind that Fault Line doesn't completely blind caught opponents and doesn't completely turn off their ability to shoot, so they aren't entirely defenseless.
How to use it:
Fault Line is a hard Crowd Control with a wide range - because of this, it can be used on open spaces during chaotic fights to support fighting team members and provide a zone-denying "stun." You can use it similarly to Aftershock to deny cover spots, or just in the open to catch enemies moving between positions. Either way, it is a great ability. Remember to make sure that you rush to kill anybody caught within your Fault Line.
X - Rolling Thunder / Cost: 7 Charges / Uses: one
-Upon clicking on the X key, Breach equips a Seismic Charge - his ultimate move. By pushing the left mouse button, the player can shot the charge through the walls. The blast dazes and knocks up anyone caught in the large terrain area.
Breach’s ultimate Rolling Thunder is a HUGE Crowd-Control ability that goes through the walls. It can be used to deny ground from the enemies, initiate team-fights, and protect teammates from incoming opponents. It can slow down the enemy movement, and therefore it should be used to stop incoming pushes. Since it covers a large part of the map you don't have to worry about missing with it - you will send your opponents flying for a short time for sure.
How to use it:
Strike enemies waiting on the site with Rolling Thunder just before the push, to let your team push for some easy frags. You may be also using it a while after the plant to deny one of the routes that lead to the site or hide and strike with Rolling Thunder when someone tries to defuse (on the attack side). When defending, save it for the moment when the enemy team storms one of the bombsites. Use this tool and kill anybody caught within the blast.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
- Astounding Crowd-Control - very much needed in every team
- Amazing initiation
- You can safely support your team by throwing skills through the walls.
Weaknesses:
- No movement abilities (jumps, teleports, etc.)
- His ultimate and other skills can be easily dodged when placed not carefully
- Easy to start with but more difficult character to master
How to win as a Breach
Breach Valorant Agent is the Initiator, and that role describes his toolkit more than anything else. He is the one that is responsible for making enemy teams uncomfortable and for pushing campers out of the positions. After Breach skills are used, everyone should fall onto the site. On the other hand, he is a great defender that can delay push for quite some time.
When playing, be sure to use Breach's abilities only when you think that you can peek/push right-after - otherwise, they will be wasted for nothing. Capitalize on what your skills have to offer and kill enemies forced out of position. This is the most crucial part of playing as a Breach - you always have to try to take advantage of what your skills do. When you use them, follow up with a quick flash or just jump straight into the fight with the gun in your hands. Breach through the enemy defenses and win the game for your team.
